Micro Finance Program

Our microfinance project started in 2015 with a select group of women attending a two-day seminar about running a small business, bookkeeping, encouraging growth, etc. These 20 women went on to receive a small loan to help provide a much-needed boost to their small start-up businesses. This program has been a huge success with all loans repaid well within their time frame, with the money then being able to be loaned to another woman. Success stories have included women being able to contribute to family needs, send their children to school and to school trips, as well as all women setting up a small kitty that can be used to help a needy family each month! We have been overwhelmed by the massive change this project has brought to so many lives, so quickly, and we can't wait to see it continue to benefit women and families in our community.
